The mornings are misty and evenings chilly. Days seem shorter as dusk comes quickly. My time in the garden is short lived, as daylight is limited. As we go deeper into Autumn, my trail of thoughts of things to do comes flooding through.
Is it time to take the slow cooker out? Or the bread maker perhaps? Not that I have much time on my hands, but truly how I wish I did.
Cooler weather conjures heart-warming menus: beef stews, congee, curries and myriad slow-cooked meals spring to mind.
But for now I might just put the kettle on and make myself a mug of nice hot cocoa!
What beautiful shots you have here. Love the parrot in your header too. Thanks for stopping by my blog.

It is so funny to read about your autumn days as we are moving into spring. I love how the internet makes our world smaller.

ReplyDeleteHello my sweet blogging friend,
ReplyDeleteYour cozy images and peaceful mood here today are what make autumn another of my favourite seasons (tied with spring!). Your photo with the pumpkins looks more like a painting that could be entitled, 'Pumpkins on Bench'! By the way, what is congee?
