Last Monday we celebrated Australia Day, as our pre-Australia day celebration we headed to the beach and had friends over for a barbecue dinner. I didn't want to inundate you with beach photos, so I thought I would share photos of our garden instead.
Our kitchen garden has not been too bad this summer, crystal apple cucumber had been productive during December but has finished its season. Butter beans are still producing abundantly while beetroot and zucchini are almost ready for harvesting, and as of the spinach and lettuces they are the star of the season. Thank you dear friends for stopping by and for your thoughtful messages. Hope you have a wonderful weekend.

I saw your Australia Day on one of my other friend's post that lives in Australia. Such a wonderful day. The red and white flowers are unusual looking and pretty. Your garden vegetables and flowers are wonderful, Aida. I can't wait to plant some roses this spring at our new home. I'm wondering what month is best to do this. Always a pleasure to see bits of your home. I love your "Hello is it tea you're looking for?" teapot.
ReplyDeleteHappy February, friend.
love, ~Sheri

ReplyDeleteYou are missed out here in teapot land and so I came back to just say hi! Aida, isn't it funny the different seasons we are all in around the world. I am amazed at flowers in Australia and going into fall when it snows everyday here. Computer problems can be very challenging! Just saying hi!
