One autumn day

Last Sunday (before the tumultuous rain), we went to visit a few of the gardens in the Southern Highlands. It has been a while since we last visited a private garden. The weather was overcast, cold and a little windy. Nonetheless we tried to make the most of the day. First we stopped at an antique emporium, where I found a couple of very old enamel ware items and an Otagiri cookie cottage jar. Hope to share my current thrifty finds on my next post. Thank you dear friends for dropping by.Wishing you all a wonderful week.

  6. What a lovely excursion, for an Aussie autumn day, so full of sunshine, flowers, and prettiness. You are a doll, my friend, and your hubby looks so sweet and adoring of you!

    Happy Wednesday!

  7. Dear Aida, you look great:-) This raspberry dress is wonderful .... oh, this is my favorite color.
Clay pots are beautiful, I would like to have a lot of these in my garden. Autumn can be beautiful but now I am very pleased with the spring, when the weather is nice but I work in the garden, I love to plant the plants.
Thank you very much for such kind words on my blog, I wish that we live so far apart.
    Yours very warm:-)

  8. Hello Aida,

Love the photo's of your open garden visit, especially the one with the bathtub. I hope your garden didn't get too wet with all that rain over your way.

    Have a lovely weekend.

  10. Dear Aida, these gardens are lovely, and the lunch looks so delicious. How fantastic you look in that bright pink outfit, and your smile makes me want to smile - it's contagious hahaha. I keep forgetting it's Autumn there, but realized once I saw the pretty golden trees.

    Have a blessed Sunday, Aida.
