Happy Mother's Day!

Her children arise and call her blessed, her husband also, and he praises her! Proverbs 31:28

Wishing all the beautiful mothers out there a fabulous Mother's Day!

This cake was made by the lovely mothers at church for our Sabbath lunch.

My vintage finds-Otagiri cottage cookie jar and my Otagiri sugar bowl and milk jug.

This light blue overnight make up case is one of my market finds.

Hubby made breakfast in bed for me and gave me this beautiful flowers.

Dear daughter surprised me with a box of chocolates, cookies and a night gown (not pictured).

While browsing online, I saw a set of Katie Alice cake tins.

I love their vintage floral patterns and colours.

  5. Dear Aida,
It looks like you had a wonderful Mother's Day. That pink tea cup is so pretty. I just found a blue tea cup at an antique shop on Saturday. The blue make-up case is delightful. I've seen these before - is that an old one from back in the day? Wishing you a beautiful Mother's Day, a bit late but with sincere thoughts.

    love, ~Sheri

  14. Dear Aida,

Although it was a month ago, I know you had a wonderfully sweet Mother's Day. Surrounded by your darling daughter and loving hubby, their thoughtful gifts and your vintage treasures, it was surely a beautiful day. Sorry, I'm late to this charming post, but am not online very much these days, as we are moving both my sister into her new home, as well as my Liberty, into her new rental.

Wishing you a sunny and warm autumn weekend!

    Hugs,
    Poppy
