Here are some of our pictures of New York. Please pardon my photos as I only used my IPhone to take them. And at this stage my computer pooped itself so here I am blogging using my IPad.
I will be uploading photos of Yosemite and Grand Canyon this week.
Thank you dear friends for your kind messages and for your friendship over the past years.
Hope you are all having a wonderful week.
And the famous Brooklyn Bridge
The soft light in Central Park was breathtaking. The icy lakes speak of beauty trapped in time, waiting for the next season when its surroundings awake to a brand new day.
Taking selfies was undeniably handy.
A sit down was necessary, to take in everything that we saw
It was very cold and chilly but I didn't mind, for I was having the time of my life
Top of the Rock tops it all
Even 5th Avenue got me going
There were squirrels everywhere.

I can't believe I was just up there
Statue of Liberty surely stole the party
Oh how festive everything was

And the famous Brooklyn Bridge
Walking in blustery conditions from Washington DC station didn't dishearten us, for we knew Mr Lincoln would be waiting for us, and that was enough to make our day complete.
The Rockefeller CentreMy daughter would like a picture, before we get inside The Met.
The Grand Central station, so grand that there's nothing like it.
